There’s a different plot this time around, however: your farmer must raise the sunken islands to return prosperity to the world, and this is accomplished through the usual hard work and exploration as well as befriending villagers, meeting a spouse and settling down with a kid. Sunshine Islands will be particularly familiar to anyone who has dabbled in the series’ previous portable release, Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness, as it shares many of the same characters and the same graphical and gameplay style as its predecessor. Now Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands has reached Europe, and it brings with it a few tweaks and changes that freshen the formula slightly while keeping it familiar for veterans. Harvest Moon’s power to enthral and entrap gamers is often underestimated by those who have yet to experience the unbridled thrill of growing a crop of healthy tomatoes, but nearly 15 years after the original Super NES Harvest Moon the series continues to sell well to experienced farmers and newcomers alike.

EDIT: The following breeding suggestions pre-date the massive Fall 2020 overhaul of the Breeding system. That allows you to recall duplicates for orbs, which you use for empowerment, and empowered legendaries are end-game state. But the best thing about breeding is finding reliable, recursive legendary dragon breeds. Breeding is the fastest way to expand your gold producing inventory, so always make sure it is jamming away.u/fancy_tetrahedron maps out all of the habitat token upgrade costs here. You need many habitats to house those dragons, and you need to upgrade them intelligently (more below).Breeding gets you both collection variety and an easy outlet for dragons to level up and collect gold from. You need many dragons at decent enough levels to produce a good hourly gold total for its rarity level.Producing lots of gold basically means two things: The more gold you produce the further you can build both outward and forward. The more dragons you have, the more gold you produce.Plus many give you great secondary rewards like food, gems, Joker Orbs, trade essence, unique items and much more. Compete in as many events as you can! This is the best way to build up a library of dragons you actually want to fight with.At minimum they will cover something important about the game and will probably contain at least one fact you had no idea about. Use all of the links provided in the sub sticky panel, chances are the answer to your question can be found in one of them.I will do my best to speak to returning players as I can, but I didn't live that dynamic so I'm uncertain of all the unique challenges you may be facing. While I call this a 'Beginners' guide, the truth is I am including many of the tips and tricks I use now as a level 98 Masters 3 player. It also serves as my thank you to this sub, u/Azurebane, and u/Deetlist whose content and input finally tied it all together for me. I'm writing this guide with the hope that it helps you avoid similar frustration I experienced learning this game. Added a write-up on Dragon Rescue, added updated event info. 2: Big updates to reflect the 'Empowerment Reborn' update. Did some formatting and content work on the Events. 3: Added u/rangarooney584 s great Breeding Event Island guide.2: Added u/fancy_tetrahedron's awesome list of habitat upgrade costs. Young Charlie and Emma’s obsession with Uncle Charlie results in them ignoring the oddities of Uncle Charlie’s abrupt arrival to Santa Rosa and Emma remains blissfully unaware of the true nature of her brother, “The Merry Widow Murderer”, throughout the entire film despite the multiple clues Uncle Charlie unconsciously reveals, like his monologue on how disgusting rich widows are. In fact, Uncle Charlie with the help of Emma and Young Charlie, replaces Joe Newton as the head of the family, demoting Joe to the status of a child as shown by him getting gifts at the same time as the young Newton children. Also Uncle Charlie is seated at the head of the table (where Joe should be sitting) while Joe is forced to sit with the children during dinner. Newton (Joe)’s newspaper, pillow, and chair are taken away from him by Emma to be given to Uncle Charlie. Emma’s obsession for her brother is so intense that it damages her relationships with her other family members like her husband. Newton (Emma), who is young Charlie’s mother and Uncle Charlie’s sister, also has an obsession for Uncle Charlie. Young Charlie deems the two of them so close that she mentions how they are more like “twins” than uncle and niece. It immediately becomes apparent that young Charlie and Uncle Charlie have an inappropriate, almost incestuous, relationship with one another. For instance, they are both introduced into the movie in the same manner: introductory shots of Santa Rosa (where young Charlie lives) and Philadelphia (where Uncle Charlie lives), a camera shot of their bedrooms windows, and a scene of them lying in bed in the middle of the day. From the beginning of the film, we see that Uncle Charlie and young Charlie are linked. Obsession is shown through the unhealthy dynamics of the Newton family, especially seen through the relationship between young Charlie and Uncle Charlie. In S hadow of a Doubt, Alfred Hitchcock presents the theme of obsession, which is seen in many of his other films like Strangers on a Train, The Lodger, and Rear Window. But without synergies they are rather weak choices. They can be grand skills – if you have the points left to synergize, that is. As you only have 27 skill points to spare for this, I think that Meteor, Hydra and Blizzard are pretty much out. So what does this leave you with for a secondary skill from a second element? As CB is a spamming-spell, the skills going best with it are delayed spells: Firewall, Meteor or Hydra from the fire-tree and Frozen Orb or Blizzard from the cold-tree. Two more skill points for Warmth and Frozen Armour will leave you with ~27 points (I usually calculate with level 85). Maxing your CB fully will cost you exactly 60 points (20 CB, 20 Lightning, 20 LM), add in the obligatory points for Static, Thunderstorm, Teleport, Energy Shield, you’ll have used up 67 points alone in the Lightning-tree. But if you feel that you run out of mana too much, just add a few points more. CB doesn’t cost all that much mana and enough mana potions drop, so there’s no need to raise this up endlessly. Usually 85 should be enough – neither Tal’s armour nor an upgraded Skin needs more than that.ĭexterity: base, 75/60 (for Wizardspike/with Hel) or as much as you need for max-block (or 50% block or whatever number you fancy): I usually don’t hold with blocking for a sorc a CB-sorc, however, gets closer to monsters than most sorcs, so it can be helpful (but my second boltress survived just fine without it)Įnergy: depending on the rest of your gear, ~75. Strength: only as much as you need for your equipment. That’s one of the main difficulties for this type of sorceress: you need to be rather close to monsters to make sure they really take this damage instead of the bolts just vanishing in the distance. With 500 dam per bolt, 24 bolts per cast and three casts per second, this gives a potential for 35.000 dam per second – as long as your bolts hit. The Chargedboltress is a totally fun character to play and she’s also quite powerful. |
